"Sensibly Sized" Diaper Rite™ Prefolds
Custom-made and Sensibly Sized Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are the product of several years of personal experience, customer feedback, and research. Responsibly manufactured in Pakistan using "Indian" cotton, these cotton prefold diapers are unsurpassed, diaper service quality (DSQ) prefolds.
Rectangular in shape, Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are sewn with three vertical panels of varying layers of 100% heavyweight cotton twill. From left to right, the Diaper Rite™ Prefold panels are sewn with a 4 x 8 x 4 ratio of "thirsty" layers; naturally, the middle panel is the thickest with 8 absorbent layers. The left and right panels are sewn with half the layers to avoid bulk when folding-down, or wrapping and fastening, the Diaper Rite™ Prefold around baby.
WHAT IS SENSIBLE SIZING?
Diaper Rite™ Prefolds have been "sensibly" cut; shorter and wider than other prefold diapers, the Diaper Rite™ Prefolds will lay into most cloth diaper wraps without folding over the front or back, reducing unnecessary bulk. The increased width was designed specifically for baby's comfort. Many prefolds do not allow enough fabric on the left and right to comfortably secure with snappis or diaper pins. Even if you are wrapping the Diaper Rite™ Prefold into a cloth diaper wrap, the additional "wingspan" means baby's skin is fully covered on the left and wrap for added comfort, though not too much bulk, at baby's waist.
Serged with a heavier gauged thread than other prefolds, the durable Diaper Rite™ Prefolds will hold up to rigorous usage, even industrial washing/drying; the Diaper Rite™ Prefold is a cotton diaper you can use through multiple children.

PLEASE NOTE: All measurements are for approximate WASHED dimensions. When you first receive your Diaper Rite™ Prefolds they WILL NOT BE WASHED and will shrink to these measurements after washing/drying multiple times.
INITIAL DIAPER RITE™ PREPARATION:
When you first receive your Diaper Rite™ Prefolds they will NOT BE WASHED. Please wash and dry the Diaper Rite ™ Prefolds a minimum of 3 times previous to use; this fluff-ups the cotton fibers, removes any remaining 'finishing' from the manufacturer, and allows for absorbency. Diaper Rite™ Prefolds get softer, more absorbent, and more quilted each time they are washed and dried.
